Its primary section, the Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews, contains more than 1,370 regularly updated full-text reviews mainly of randomized controlled trials. Other sections of the Cochrane Library are the Database of Abstracts of Reviews of Effectiveness, the Cochrane Controlled Trials Register, and the Cochrane Review Methodology Database. The Electronic journal Center (EJC) provides full-text access to over 7,000 journals covering most academic disciplines. The journal content is exclusively academic and research orientated covering core titles and beyond for most subject areas. Most of the covered titles will generally include 5-15 years of full-text coverage. For projects involving scholarly journals, the EJC can be a powerful resource.
