Overview

In it's broadest sense, the foundation of a research project includes three basic steps. You can often complete one step before moving onto the next. Keep in mind that there may be times when you will need to return to a previous step or work through multiple steps simultaneously. 

What You Need to Get Started

  • Class Assignment- Understand the limits, parameters, and expectations of the project.
  • Have a Plan- Be prepared to tackle the project in a systematic fashion.
  • Start Early- Incorporate time management into your plan. The online Research Project Calculator (RPC) can help you set-up a project schedule by entering your due date:
